Notes

1 Defeated Richard Morton in tournament final to determine the first WCW Light Heavyweight Champion.
- Armstrong was stripped of the title due to a knee injury. A tournament was announced to take place in early 1993, but the idea was abandoned. The WCW Light Heavyweight Championship would later be replaced with the WCW Cruiserweight Championship.
